Flair bartending

The word Flair (eng.) has multiple meanings that all represent something unique, special and different, stylish and elegant. Flair has become a fundamental part of the bartending profession, and it added a higher level to it. Flair bartenders are also the showman and attraction of the club. They have become an indispensable segment of a good time in all the world-famous destinations. Bartenders who have mastered the art of Flair have a lot of fun and are payed well at the same time.

The flair course, as part of the Croatian Waiters and Bartenders Association, is the ideal way to upgrade, expand and improve your knowledge of cocktails and cocktail preparation in a completely original way.

The bartender is the person behind the bar in a club, disco or bar and his job is to serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In establishments where cocktails are an integral part of the offer, bartenders are expected to properly make and serve drinks from the cocktail menu. Bartenders are mirrors of the premises where they work, and in the world they are considered „the aristocracy of the working class“. Their task is to entertain and comfort the guest, remember his favourite drink, read the daily newspaper to know the answers to possible questions, and so much more.

Flair is the skill of preparing cocktails, entertainment and making a show. When the bartender masters the basics of preparing high-quality cocktails, he comes to the next level where he learns how to entertain guests with a variety of routines with a bottle, shaker, glass, ice, and generally with all that he can use that is a standard part of the bar equipment. Flair bartending itself requires a lot of practice and dedication which, of course, can only be found in those that are in love with this skill. This is an attractive way to impress guests not only in bars, but also at various events and large gatherings where someone wants to be pointed out as a great company or as a great host. The members of the Croatian Waiters and Bartenders Association are always available for show and entertainment and a wide range of cocktails for any event.
